GeoCon HD is an educational application designed for the iPad, targeted at students, educators, and enthusiasts engaged in the study of plane geometry. The app focuses on geometric constructions, a core and engaging aspect of the subject, offering a tactile and interactive learning experience through touch-based manipulation.

<li>A dedicated Practice Mode provides a stress-free environment for mastering construction tools and exploring personal ideas before tackling challenges in Game Mode.</li>
<li>Progress is tracked through medals—silver for completion and gold for solving levels with minimal moves—adding an element of performance benchmarking.</li>

The app begins with straightforward tutorials covering key geometric procedures such as point setting, line and circle construction, and intersection points. These foundational skills prepare users for 38 progressively complex levels designed to challenge and develop geometric reasoning regardless of prior experience.

Completing levels unlocks new construction tools, mirroring professional mathematical workflows that ease more complex tasks. Achievements can be earned and shared via Game Center, promoting friendly competition. Additionally, many levels have multiple solutions, allowing users to discover alternative approaches and earn further achievements.

The inclusion of Practice Mode facilitates self-directed learning by providing access to all construction tools without pressure. This environment supports experimentation and preparation before engaging with the structured challenges in Game Mode.
